JOY is a delightful and blessed group of "senior saints" that meet for a wonderful time of food, fellowship, thanksgiving, prayer, programs, and reminiscing. We love to share stories of our families, our Church, and our Lord Jesus. JOY has been a thriving ministry at Wake Chapel for over 20 years. The group meets the first Monday of each month, September through May. Meetings are in the main building Church Fellowship Hall and begin at 11:45 a.m. Lunch is served at noon. All seniors are invited to join our JOY group. Exciting, fun, and educational field trips are an important part of the JOY ministry. Events include picnics, cook outs, train trips, and, more recently a trip to see the Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit. These very special, much appreciated, dedicated, and talented ladies serve this ministry and make each meeting a most joyful time.
