Youth Ministry BBQ Sale!

On March 2nd, from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., the youth ministry will be selling home cooked BBQ Sandwiches at the Family Life Center. the cost is $4.00 for one sandwich, or $7.00 for two. All Funds raised will support the students going to TVR and World Changers this summer. Please come and enjoy a sandwich, and catch an Upward Basketball game while you're here....Keep Reading

Upward Games Start Saturday January 12

If you think we just teach basketball and cheer leading in our Upward league, think again. Every Saturday from January 12 through March 8, the gospel of Jesus Christ will be spoken to all the spectators of the basketball games. Statistically, that's approximately 700 visitors in 2 months. On top of that, we've got coaches who are teaching the Bible to 301 students every week. Pray for our Upward Team Members to magnify Jesus so they can see how great He really is. January Men's Fellowship Meeting - Tuesday, 1/8

Wake Chapel Laymen met December 11 at 7:00 PM for a meal and heard the first of four character-building sessions with retired NFL coach Tony Dungy, from his DVD series entitled "Dare To Be Uncommon". The second session in the series will be shown at the January meeting. The "Dare To Be Uncommon" series is quite interesting and appropriate for all ages but especially for young men and teenage boys. Plan to attend and bring a youngster! The laymen meetings are open and informal, providing an excellent opportunity for members new, and not so new, to become better acquainted....Keep Reading
