Mens Fellowship2It's time for the Wake Chapel Men's Fellowship annual fish fry! Men's Fellowship will meet Tuesday, September 11, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. The guest Speaker for this month's meeting is the Reverend Edmund Spieker.  Rev. Spieker was born in Witten/Ruhr West Germany a few months before the start of WWII. When his father was drafted into the war in 1943, his mother and his siblings were evacuated to the Sudetenland, part of the Czech Republic which belonged to Germany before World War I. Edmund’s father was killed during the war and his mother raised the children on her own following World War II. Edmund trusted Christ as savior at the age of 11.

Edmund and his wife Marli have served as missionaries with Trans World Radio. Edmund has a heart for ministry and to minister to those in ministry. He currently works with Churches in Missions and in addition to coordinating Short-Term Mission trips he also leads Pastor Care Clinics in Brazil and other countries. He is a captivating and articulate speaker you will not want to miss. Please join us for food and fellowship.
