bsflinkWake Chapel Christian Church has been selected to host the first Bible Study Fellowship Satellite program in the Fuquay-Varina area for the 2014-15. (click the BSF link to the right for more information)

Study groups will be available for both Men and Women. The 2014-15 curriculum will be a study of "The Life of Moses" in the books of Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy.

Perhaps no person in history, outside of Jesus Christ, has made such a profound impression on the world as Moses, the great lawgiver of Israel. Even so, God is the primary character in this study. Covering four of the five books of the Pentateuch — Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy — the curriculum includes Israel's deliverance from Egypt, preparation at Sinai, march toward Canaan and Moses' final days. Lessons in leadership are a hallmark of this study. – Bible Study Fellowship

The first meetings will be the second Tuesday night in September at 6:55 p.m. at Wake Chapel Christian Church at 905 Wake Chapel Road in Fuquay Varina. The study concludes the first week of May 2015.

BSF is an in-depth, interdenominational Bible study that helps people know God and equips them to effectively serve the Church throughout the world.

In more than 1,000 classes in 38 countries, people of all ages, races and cultures participate in BSF, whether they are discovering God's Word for the first time or have studied the Bible over a lifetime.

Bible study draws us closer to God and helps us better understand Him, His Word and His love. Through a stronger relationship with God, members have discovered how to build better and stronger relationships with others — at home, work, school and in our communities.

In the more than 50 years since our founding, hundreds of thousands of men, women and children have participated in BSF. Many have gone on to assume leadership positions in their churches and to serve God in other ministries.

BSF's four-step approach brings clarity to your study of the Bible, producing life change as you apply God's truth.

  1. Answer daily lesson questions on your own.
  2. Discuss your insights in a conversation with members of your discussion group.
  3. Listen to a lecture that explains the passage, key principles from the lesson and the relevance of the Bible's truth to today's world.
  4. Read lesson notes that further elaborate on the passage.

An informational meeting and sign up night for the men's and women's groups was held on Tuesday May 6that Wake Chapel Christian Church.

There is still time to sign up for this study. Anyone interested in being part of this should contact Bob Johnson by email.
