Our goal is to introduce our children to the God of the Bible who has revealed Himself to us through His Word, the Bible, and through His Son Jesus Christ and to encourage them to trust and follow Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

Check in at the Welcome Center desk when you arrive.
Nursery is provided for babies and toddlers.
Using curriculum from The Gospel Project and Answers in Genesis, our Sunday School classes are designed to teach the children basic biblical principles that will lead to greater understanding of God's Word as children grow.

Toddlers — 2nd grade

Our Children’s Church program provides age-appropriate, hands-on lessons for children during Sunday morning worship service:

Toddler Bible Time: Toddlers and 2-year olds remain in the nursery for the entirety of worship and participate in a circle time of “Bible Stories & Songs” in their class.

Children ages 3 — 2nd grade are released for Children's Church after the offertory hymn:
Children’s Church: Preschoolers (3 & 4 year olds) share in a Bible story lesson, hands-on activities, songs, and memory verse.
Junior Church: Children in kindergarten — 2nd grade are invited to journey through the Bible with lessons from Child Evangelism Fellowship curriculum.

Awana is an international, Bible-centered children's and youth ministry providing local churches with weekly clubs, programs, and training for students in preschool through high school. Their goal is to equip churches to reach kids, and their families, with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. The acronym Awana comes from the first letters of Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed as taken from 2 Timothy 2:15. Children participate in Scripture Memory, Encouraging Lessons, Exciting Games and Lots of Fun!

Awana is a Bible-centered children's ministry providing weekly clubs including Cubbies (pre-school), Sparks (K — 2nd grade), and Truth & Training (3rd — 5th graders).

Upward-LogoUpward Basketball and Cheerleading

K — 6th grade

Available to both members and non-members alike, the Wake Chapel Upward Sports program includes both basketball and cheerleading programs for boys and girls from kindergarten through 6th grade. Our Upward Sports program regularly serves nearly 400 children. Registration starts in October with practices beginning in November and games in January and February.

This community-wide sports league aims to develop the total athlete physically, spiritually, emotionally, and socially.

All activities take place in the Wake Chapel Family Life Center.

Vacation Bible School
June 23-27, 2019
6:00 — 8:00 p.m.
Ages 3 — 5th grade

At Vacation Bible School, children are invited to participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play fun games, make hands-on crafts, and experience adventures that anchor them in Biblical truths.
