Dear Wake Chapel Family

Dear Wake Chapel Fpastorpen3amily,

This week will mark our first full week in our new home here in Fuquay-Varina. Having moved most of our things from Ringgold, the Mooneyhams can now say we are settled! The past few weeks have been quite busy for us, and along with a wide range of emotions— excitement and expectation for our new family at Wake Chapel, but also many tears, as we’ve worked through our goodbyes with those we’ve left behind at The Tabernacle.

Words fall short when thinking of the great lengths you all have taken to make us feel at home. We have been overwhelmed by your kindness, thoughtfulness and encouragement. Even so, our greatest joy has been to witness your faithfulness in the ministry of the Word. Be it your hospitality, or your hunger for an understanding of scripture, the services we have shared together only confirm in our minds that we are now in the place our Lord has chosen for us.

I am very much looking forward to our time together, not only in a teaching capacity, but also in getting to know each one of you as part of our new faith family. This will take some time, as meaningful relationships do, but as the weeks and months pass my prayer is that our Lord will begin to knit our hearts together in Christ as we
serve along side one another for His glory.

As was part of out most recent Bible study this past Wednesday evening, my prayer for you all is the same as Paul’s for his beloved Philippians:

9 And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment, 10 so that you may approve what is excellent, and so be pure and
blameless for the day of Christ, 11 filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God. - Philippians 1:9-10 (ESV)

Gratefully yours,

Isaac Mooneyham
