The Visual Depth of "Serve"

On June 14 our Mission Team will fly over one thousand miles to Montego Bay, Jamaica with open hands and open hearts as we gratefully serve alongside the Caribbean Christian Center for the Deaf.

To say, "Serve" in sign language, you simply hold both hands out in front of you with your palms up. That image bears so much relevance and application for our team. As we serve God, we come just as we are; ready to be used by God. We come empty-handed, realizing that apart from His intercession we can do no good. Our tools are what God gives us, not merely our own hard work, determination, and experience. Our hands are in the "ready" position, not knowing what God will use them for, but ready none the less. Our team members are committed to remain flexible, humble, and hardworking as we seek to represent our Lord Jesus Christ on our journey. We also hope to keep you informed with our progress by updating our website with pictures and journal entries every day. Thank you for your prayers!
