Born February 28, 1942, in Winston-Salem, Pastor Ross graduated from R.J. Reynolds High School in 1960. Following high school, he attended Piedmont Bible College (now Carolina University) and then went on to earn a Master of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary in 1968.  

A longtime member of Fuquay’s Wake Chapel Christian Church, Pastor Ross served there as senior pastor for 30 years. He retired in 2017 and was subsequently named pastor emeritus. Pastor Ross previously ministered at Robinhood Road Baptist Church and Antioch Baptist Church in Winston-Salem, both of which involved his serving as youth and music director. He also served as senior pastor at Town North Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas, prior to coming to Wake Chapel.

Reverend Ross E. Marion, 79, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, October 12, 2021.
