Wake Chapel's Men's Fellowship comprises a robust group of God-honoring men ranging in age from 25 to 95. The group convenes the second Thursday of each month from September through May. Meetings take place at 7 p.m. in the main church fellowship hall.
Monthly gatherings typically feature enjoyable activities including a delicious prepared meal, a church member testimonial or spiritual challenge from a guest speaker, and a brief time discussing various church-related matters. First-time attendees are welcome free of charge. A small monthly fee of $6 offsets the cost of the meal for regular members.
The men's fellowship group works to promote missions and traditionally spearheads the annual Wake Chapel Valentine Banquet. A yearly pine straw fundraiser each fall helps pay for widows and widowers to attend the banquet. In addition to other periodic projects, the men also graciously provide a generous donation each year to the church's dynamic youth ministry.
